Lois Farm is situated 2.5 miles south of the A303 Wincanton bypass near to the Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire borders. The farm, originally called The Doves, is close to the historic towns of Castle Cary, Sherborne, with its two  castles, and Shaftesbury (a Saxon hill top town). If you venture a bit further (to the east) you will find the Wiltshire cathedral city of Salisbury, and (to the north) the Georgian spa city of Bath.

Stay on this road for 1.7miles and the road will turn left and right and then approaches a right turn by a large fir tree. Signposted Horsington take this road and travel for 0.9 of a mile until you reach a house on your right. Immediately take a left turn at the Lois Sign and the farmhouse and barns are the only dwellings down this lane.
